Warming up to it

I am slowly warming up to the new simplified SBCF characters. I have even sketched the family in case there is a need for supporting characters.

Most of the time I don't really have a strategy. I have an idea and I begin by winging the first frame and then from there the ideas just flow. Sometimes I would start off with drawing a face and then the contortion of the body. Basically whatever visually makes the most sense in my story. I still look up references through Google and Pinterest for facial expressions and body proportions. There is a lot of erasing and redrawing. I have discovered that I am not too shabby at copying drawings especially with animations with more solid lines.

I need to brainstorm more story
lines. I find myself doodling a lot and just feeling the urge to do it.
